SAH Side Access

The SAH Side Access, horizontal flow SAH System provides medium efficiencies for air purification, with flow rates from 425 to 67,920 m3/h.
These units are based on an aluminum structure with epoxy painted or stainless steel panels. They contain two beds of modules, to protect against all types of gases and also provide protection against particles with a pre-filter type G4 and a filter type F7. These systems can include a fan.

Within the range of SAH systems, there are two options:
- SAH12 machines (with PP12 module).
They are designed with residence times between 0.12 and 0.23 seconds with frontal air velocities between 0.64 and 1.27 m/s and airflows from 425 to 33,980 m3/h. They are typically used in industrial applications.
- SAH18 machines (with PP18 modules)
Designed with residence times between 0.03 and 0.06 seconds with frontal air velocities between 1.27 and 2.55 m/s and airflows from 425 to 67,920 m3/h. Their application is usually commercial. 

For loading granulate into SAH filtration systems, BION has two types of modules. One or the other is used depending on the customer's needs in terms of efficiency, autonomy and pressure drop.

PPU/RU Equipment

PPU/RU equipment is designed to provide and maintain continuous positive pressurization with corrosive gas-free air in environments that require a controlled atmosphere. These are typically computer rooms, control rooms, motor control centers and electronic or electrical equipment in industrial activities susceptible to problematic emissions such as petrochemical, paper mills, foundries and laboratories.

These units can work by performing both pressurization and recirculation functions or only pressurization. When used in combined operation, up to 50% of its flow is used to maintain the positive pressure while the rest is used to recirculate the room air. The capacity of the equipment is 700 m3/h.
The most common contaminants that are filtered are: hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, chlorine compounds, ammonia, etc. These machines are built in steel sheet coated with zinc, with a surface treatment consisting of degreasing and phosphating, passivation with Ecolo zirconium, and finally painted with epoxy paint and oven polymerized.
In these equipments the different filter media are loaded, according to the needs of each case, in PP12 modules. They also include G4 and F7 particle filters. 

PBS System

The horizontal packed bed PBS system ensures that there is no contaminant bypass and provides a minimum efficiency of 99.9% in the removal of target contaminants.

It is designed to be located outside the protected environment to provide clean, pressurized air inside control rooms with electronic equipment.
The PBS System has two pelletizing stages for maximum protection against all types of gases.

DS Range

DS systems are prepared to remove very efficiently a wide variety of pollutants such as: Hydrogen Sulfide, Mercaptans, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) and other nuisance gases. One of the most important applications is the treatment of gases in wastewater treatment plants.
Three different types of granulates are incorporated in DS systems: BION KOH, BION ISORB MAX and BION AC. All of them have specific functions dedicated to obtaining the highest efficiency and service life. These granulates can be changed according to the gases present in each project.

Because it is designed to extract and treat gases locally, without the need for large pipelines or large motors to move the air from the source to the treatment site, the energy savings are considerable.
The color change of the granulate, together with the decentralized groups of drums, makes it possible to know very precisely what is happening at each point of the air purification line. The system is easy to administer and highly flexible. Individual information is available for each point, making it easy to monitor the most polluting enclaves and take corrective action to reduce granulate consumption.
The DS system is available in several versions, sized for different air flow rates according to individual requirements.
